Video: Perez Hilton at the Miss USA contest?

Er ... Mr. Hilton is very much misguided. Miss California's answer was exactly the answer Mr. Hilton said he would give, just in different words. Miss California said that it's great that in America people can choose (which is as much support as you can give to states' "right" to choose on issues that have no bearing on national interest). Perhaps Mr. Hilton's bigotry and, well, stupidity just stopped him from comprehending those simple, plainspoken words. Would he have understood better if those were in legalese? Or was he offended that she said people are free to choose, but if she were to choose she would defend the traditional marriage?
I hope, if you ever believed that liberals are somehow "open-minded", that this opened your eyes. I am sure that there are open-minded liberals out there, just like there are open-minded and intelligent conservatives (at least on this position) like Miss California out there. But most liberals are just being a big fat hypocrite in claiming to be open-minded. An open-minded person does not call a woman a "bitch" just because she doesn't agree with him.
I, for one, am glad and proud that she is from California.
