New Jersey to sex offenders: No Internet for you
Offenders can be monitored, have their computers searched without warning, or have Internet and computer access banned altogether... even if they did not use a computer in the commission of their crime.
Talk about cruel and unusual punishments. What are they going to do next, ban cellphone usage for businessmen convicted of insider trading?
It's ... almost fascinating how, in a society that's ever becoming more and more tolerant to minorities and "people with different life style", we are becoming more and more intolerant and hateful towards certain group of people. Like smokers and, well, sex offenders.
It's almost as if there is some kind of conservation law for intolerance.
